Driver Update takes me to Vegas "sales" website

Silver-Lance wrote on 2/14/2023, 6:31 AM

Hi all long story short is where is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080Ti 284.9 driver?

Longer story: Please forgive my ignorance. Im running Vegas Pro 18 until yesterday no problems at all. Then while rendering a project for youtube it suddenly stopped around 13% through. So i tried everything i can think of including starting fresh with no edits and saving/reloading etc. I ended up CTRL+Shift and removing the cach.

Rendered video fine, second video hung at 13%. Updated Graphics drivers (didn't see i needed to till then). Today it's rendering which is great, but is now crashing at random intervals when previewing the video. Then next render was a blank video which crashes Vegas.

Checking forums i checked for software update and then Driver update which is Not found, so i clicked the link and it just takes me to the main page, checked through downloads nothing there.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Just get the latest Studio driver off the NVIDIA website, not through Vegas.

Arh I didn't realise i needed Studio Driver's too. Thank you I'll get on that, do you think that may help with the crashes and such? I assume it can't hurt at least

Try the one J-V found instead.

174.0 is just a Vegas bug it is missing the 5 in front (and isn't current anyway).

I'm running the 1080Ti with all versions of Vegas from V13 to V20 with no significant issues, current studio driver is 528.49.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro
