Drop file Problem

Theuns wrote on 5/20/2023, 3:11 AM

Can anyone help me with this problem...

I did send my Client a file drop link and set the limits to the max.

his file is 4gig and the Max Limit on the system is 50Gig.

When he uploads his file or video the system tells him

there is a space problem on my side.

@Theuns Is this a Vegas problem? If not I'll move it to the more appropriate OFFTOPIC section.

Theuns wrote on 5/20/2023, 3:42 AM

@EricLNZ I think so because his file is way smaller than 50Gig

I send him now my We Transfer Link but this is not very nice it gives a bad impression to clients

Look at the image you posted, it clearly says BLISS...

He asked you what that means, as it seems relevant to your question...

Former user wrote on 5/20/2023, 10:53 AM

@Theuns As @mark-y says in your image it says 'Drop Files to Bliss', it mentions Transfer limit & then says you're over your limit, so what is Bliss, is it a file sharing site or something?

@EricLNZ Edit - I found out what this is all about, File Drop in the Hub & it's associated mobile app, Bliss must be where the files are going to, this is a comment on the forum https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/file-drop-works-in-v20-edit--136740/

@Theuns Hi, I would suggest you change the title of this post from 'Drop file Problem', which is very vague & could mean anything to a more descriptive name with Vegas Hub included in it, then you'll get people commenting who know about this topic instead of people like me who haven't a clue but are curious & have too much time on their hands 👍😁

Hi @Former user & @mark-y

No that was The Screen Shot my Customer Send me he Wants to upload Files to me With the link that you Get When you do the Drop File via Vegas.

The Image below was the test File that I want to upload that is 30 sec long and I did get the same message.

"Bliss" is my Clients name lol I just see it now when I did look at the image.

I did set the limits to the max for the upload for my client and the test for me self was 2 Gig I still get this message

for a File that is 5Meg Big.

Did you use the Drop File option via Vegas yet?
