Dropped frames error message though 0 dropped frames

Hi

I'm new to Vegas Video.

I have been capturing video from my Pana MX300. When the capture is running the dropped frames counter remains zero throughout. However, at the end of the capture I get an error message saying "Dropped frames were detected during capture..."

Am I in fact getting dropped frames or is this error message wrong? How can I confirm whether there have been any dropped frames?

Any help much appreciated.

Make sure you have updated to Vegas 3.0c. If the capture app tells you that frames were dropped, they almost certainly were. A little system tweaking is typically needed to eliminate this problem. Check this document for more info:
