Dropping Audio on Output of Video Factory 2.0 to DV

I have found that when I dump my dv project through my Pyro firewire card to another DV device (sony dv cam or JVC dv/svhs deck), it will do several things. One, and the main problem, it will drop audio every 10 seconds or so for a 1/4 second then come back in. At the end of the video clip, the audio sync is off from the video. I have to rerender the file under Ulead 5.0 then it will copy to the DV device fine from Ulead's program. Second, both decks will record for up to 2 minutes, then for no reason, stop recording and go to stop mode. I have no problems with this in Ulead's program. Is it a bug in Sonic Foundry's program, or what am I doing wrong?

thanks for any help.
Dave

Have you got the Vid Factory update 2.0a? That did the trick for me with the audio dropping out in Win 2000 Pro. Also, I worked around by using the free Vegas video capture/print download (which is the same as going into Ulead, I guess)

Don't know about the 2 minute bug.

Thanks, I will give that a try and see what happens. I think the 2 minute bug is something with the timing or signal dropout on the DV. Any glitch or dropout will stop the JVC. The Sony is a little more forgiving.
