DSP and sonic FX not installed

I have a dual boot system 95 / NT 4.0. Everything works
fine on NT. I've completed 12 tracks with tons of FX (both
DSP & SOnic's)& so on. Anyway, after I close VEGAS under
windows 95 and reopen it i get "Fault, direct fx not
properly installed" and none of the effects i've just
programed find there proper path to the fx sends or
bus. It's as if I never set them to begin with. The busses
are there all the levels are there but I have to find all
the effects and reset them all back to thier propper paths.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything upside down &
backwards still not working. The effects are shown in the
menues and I can reinsert them and save them but EVERY time
I close down shop and reopen it's the same procedure to
find the effects. I have absolutely NO problem under NT.
Any suggestions/fixes please.

Not sure I follow you here...

You create and edit a project in NT. Save and exit Vegas, Exit NT.

Start Win95, load the project and you get the error msgs?

or...

You create and edit a project in Win 95. Save and exit Vegas. Restart
Vegas and load the saved project and you get errors?

What is reporting the error msg? Vegas or the DirectX FX. Does this
happen for all FX or only the track FX?
