DSR-40 Not "Installing" in XP

I plugged a DSR-40 desk into my computer via firewire and expected XP to treat it like any other camera I've tried. It brought up the "new device" boxes, couldn't find a driver for an "AV/C Tuner" and it shows a yellow question mark in Device Manager.

In Vegas, I'm capturing fine using the deck, but I'm getting nothing out to the monitor when I playback from the timeline. I've tried the monitor out as well as the video out. I can play tapes out from the deck and they show on the monitor fine. I'm assuming this has something to do with XP not "installing" it correctly. I've tried the DV IEEE setting (on vs off) to no avail. Any tips?

I don't have a deck, but if you remove the device with the yellow question mark and leave it turned on, when you reboot windows will see a new device and ask to search for drivers automatically.

Click OK and if it has drivers it will install them, if not it will ask you for a disk or path where they can be located. If you have drivers then tell windows where they are.
