When using two Hard drives for audio recording (dedicating
one drive to audio and the other to the os),

On which ide channels should the drives be placed?

I know the OS drive should be on IDE Master on controller 1

Should the audio drive be IDE Slave on controller1 or
IDE Master on controller 2

My 2nd IDE Controller is not UDMA 66 compatable only my
primary channel is.

What is the optimum setup.

I have a quantum fireball 10 gig 7200 rpm drive and a
Maxtor 15 gig 7200 rpm drive. which drive should I use for
the audio drive?
