dual microphones

Has anybody tried the new Azden 200ULT dual microphone system? I recently purchased it, but am having problems. They work great independently, but, alas, when I turn them both on, there is a buzz and some distortion. Anybody with the same problem? Or solutions? Quite an expensive toy ! If they can't be used at the same time, what's the point? Thanks for any feedback.

If there's a money back guarantee, use it. Go for AT, Senheisser or almost any other brand. I'd bet the problem is in the product, not the application.

I have this dual receiver unit. I have had no problem with it. It is awesome. When I first got it, I thought I was having trouble with it, but it was because I had the phantom power on by mistake. I used these mics for a 2 camera shoot lasting about 6 1/2 hours about a week ago. They worked perfectly. I love it.

Good point, don't ask me why but a consistent problem we have with wireless mics is users putting phantom power into the outputs of the receiver. The results vary from a small amount of extra noise to total audio disaster.
