(I'm assuming you are on a Win platform).

First, set up the "Display Properties" for your computer. Easiest way: right-click on empty part of desktop and select "Properties".

Select the "Settings" tab. You should see monitor icons for 2 displays; clicking on each makes it the current display for the settings you set.

Make one of them your primary monitor.

Checkmark "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" for both displays.

Then, most Windows programs you launch (including VMS and DVDA) will treat your 2 monitors as one very wide monitor, allowing you to drag panels wherever they suit you.

HTH.

I tried what you said, but the primary monitor has the "extend my windows onto this monitor" and the "use this device as the primary monitor" are both "grayed out" (not showing up, but on the screen)
I will try to reboot and see if that puts the chqanges into effect.
Thanks
John
