Dual Monitors

I recently went to dual monitors, using two seperate graphics cards.

Un-docking from the VV User Interface (UI) and docking of these VV modules into the second monitor works very well. However I am unable to move the suite of functions at the bottom of the UI which have an index tab ie Explorer, Media Pool, Transitions, FX's etc. I can move each category seperately as a standalone box into the second monitor area. Is it possible to move all of these functions as a single entity (As it is currently configured in the UI), or is just wishful thinking on my part?

Thanks and regards

Sorry, no, you can't set up a second window with multiple docked tabs (I think that is what you are asking).

If you want the timline in one monitor and the tabbed panes (and the un-docked windows) in the second, you could always setup the desktop such that the second monitor is virtually below the first and keep the timeline full screen on the first...

...only drawback is dragging elements out the top of the second monitor, rather than out the left side... ;^)

(Sidebar: I know a self-taught animator who wasn't shown the proper way to use a mouse, and learned it upside-down... can't work any other way. )

Thanks SonicEPM, confirms what I thought was the case.

MartyH, thanks for the suggestion. As I am lefthanded, I am probably not disimilar from the animator you know, ie I have spent a lifetime getting used to a righthanded world!
