Dual Xeon processors?

I am considering getting a new machine (mainly for VE with Vegas 5.0) and I was hoping others might share any relevant experiences (good or bad) before I make the big investment. Any comments on mother board, vid or sound cards, processors, amount of RAM, etc. would be greatly appreciated as I am no expert. Also any good experiences with a quieter cooling system would be useful. Here is was I was planning to have built:

-Dual Xeon 2.8GHZ 512K 533FSB

-2 GB DDR RAM PC2700 333MHZ

-ASUS ATX MBD Dual XEON 875P 2DDR GBLAN PRO8X FSB533

-System drive: Seafate Cheetah 36.7GB U320 SCSI Hard DR 10k RPM

-2 250GB hard drive SATA150 7200rpm 8MB Cache (striped)

-Sound blaster Augidy 2 ZS 24bit 192 khz sc

-Nvidia Quadro FX 500 128mb 8X AGP

Any specific thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

You should ditch the SB for a different sound card (there's a few threads here on good editing sound cards). I belive an m-audio would be recomended.

Also, ditch your video card for something cheaper with duel heads (if you want duel monitors. If you do't just get a $40-80 Geforce 3/4 or Radeon 8500/9600. Both are good in 2d, but have openGL & DirectX support for boris & stuff like that)

I'd recomend at least 80gb for a system drive (lots of stuff gets installed there no matter what, plus I like to install a copy of Linux on a 20gb partition for emergencies).
