DV Deck question......

Hi everyone,

I don't have professional DV deck recorder so i use my Samsung mini DV Camcorder when i want to print the completed project to tape. What is the difference between these two?Is there a quality better quality if i use proper DV recorder or else?
Also, when i render the completed project to a standard DV format and i monitor it through the TV out of the graphic card connected to a TV i get a better picture than monitoring through my mini DV Camcorder through firewire using tTV Out on my mini DV Cam! What is the difference between TV Out of the graphic card and firewire? Which one should i use?I have to mention that when i monitor the rendered file through my TV Out of the graphic card i get very warm colors of the picture which is nice and when i monitor it through my mini DV Cam using TV Out through firewire it's oppossite!
Can someone here help me achieve the best picture quality when printing to tape?

Thanks in advance,

Bertie,

The best possible picture quality will come from using firewire out straight to the camera using Vegas to do the Print To Tape. What you end up with on the tape is a bit copy of what's in the rendered AVI file. The other path you've been trying is possibly fiddling with the video in some way. You also need to factor in how correctly your TV is adjusted.
