DV on Mac

Can one transport DV files to and from a Mac running FinalCut Pro? Does the SonicFoundry DV codec become an issue in particular?

Files encoded with the Sonic Foundry DV codec are still normal DV AVI files. The only thing that is different is that SF's codec does a far better job of producing these files than anyone else does. If FinalCutPro can open any DV AVI files at all, then it will have no problem opening files created by SF's codec.
