I just received Vegas 4.0, but can't get it to work properly with my DV deck. If I click on the camera near the bottom of the screen, a window pops up saying that it does not support this file type, then lists:
File BWHHN9 could not be opened.
File 6ZG3YG could not be opened.
File P5RRVW could not be opened.
No idea what that is all about. It does however capture with full deck control, so I just ignore the error.
When I want to print to tape, it first tells me that I must use manual deck control, then when I try to output to tape it informs me that my "DV Device is offline". Very strange since the capture routine had no problem finding it. Help!
