Hi guys.

I find myself needing to transfer tape HUBS from a bad DV tape case to a donor DV tape case. The current case is maxell brand and GLUED together.

Are there any among you that could recommend a particular brand of DV tape that used SCREWS and not GLUE? Also, have any of you had a good experience mixing brands? For example, DV tape, (maxell brand HUBS), placed inside say a Sony DV case with screws? In other words, compatibility issues, or not, mixing brands of hubs and cases. Are the HUBS generally manufactured to an industry "standard"?

EDIT: Since all I heard was crickets on my question here, I took a chance. I ordered some JVC DV used tapes. They have screws. The lower pic does not show the screws. They are there, (if anyone cares).

ALSO, I was able to exchange the hubs from a Maxell DV to THIS JVC DV without any issue. There must be a standard on these hubs. Otherwise, I would not have been able to do this. Alternatively, maybe the hubs came from the same manufacturing plant.
