DVC Pro HD workflow suggestions

I have searched here for info on using DVCPro HD in Vegas but noo results. I realise that vegas doesn't support DVCPro HD directly, so I'm looking for some workflow suggestions
- whats an efficient way to take the files from a Hard Disk(having already transfer the files to a PC)
- what conversion programs are there available

Any help appreciated.

There are lots of threads on this, but what your looking for is Raylight.

Or one of Cineform's NEO products (they have a separate version for HDV and DVCPro HD, Full raster HD formats, and 2k/4k digital cinema resolutions)

I would endorse Cineform over Raylight, as the Cineform codec is now fully supported on Mac OS as well (so you can round trip your files to anyone who wants them)
