As always with used equipment, Caveat emptor.

There's always ebay too.

Cost-wise.. I would imagine that for a used PD-150 / 170, you could look at a couple other 3-chip options such as the PDX10 or Panasonic's AG-DVC30.

You can get used PD100's too and that was and still is a very widely used and great little camera.

Thanks for your replies. Looking at the links recommended and my own searches I find I can get a NEW PD170 for LESS than any secondhand advertised price. Is this the norn thesedays?

ALSO I shoot only in 16:9 and the PD's are 4:3 native, so I will be wasting a lot of pixels right? Is there a PD170 equivalent with a 16:9 CCD?

I have a pd150 with about 3 hours worth of filming! I purchased 2 pd150's
and one pd250 about a six months ago thinking that I was going to do
3 multicam filming. All of my work has taken the direction of single cam work.

SO, I have an extra pd-150 for sale. My price is $4,500 (CAD) ...CASH!

I am in Toronto.. If you OR anybody is interested just post here...
