I have been asked to edit a short film for the local health auhority and, possibly, they will be filming 16:9 on DVCam.
If this is they way they will go they will loan me the DVCam camera to copy the footage to my PC.
I have read some things here in the forum but would like to clear up a few possible misconceptions:
1. Is the resolution (quality) from DVCam footage higher (better) than miniVD? I have read that there are fewer dropouts.
2. Can I edit DVCam footage on V5 then burn to DVD (mpg2)
3. The final film will be shown on a large screen at a football stadium - is miniDV good enough for this?
You help would be appreciated.
