i Rendered my 2 minutes Project(Leen) Video & Audio from V6 to a folder in my D: Drive , i open DVD 3 , i import the files:

Project Video: Leen MPEG-2
Project Audio: Leen AC3

i choose Make DVD > Prepare > i make a New Folder in Drive D and name it: Preparing Project Leen

i prepare it there then i go back to make DVD , i chose Burn DVD , chose the Folder: Prepairing project Leen

in the box i type:

Volume name: Leen
Device: ISO image writer !!!!!??
File name: D:\Prepairing Project Leen !!!!!!?

and then Finish ..... DVD 3 does some(rendering/burning or whatever i dont realy know) for 10 seconds and then tells me it was successfull.

i check the DVD-RW and nothing at all has happened to it , am i missing somthing?

i put the DVD in a Player and in my PC and theres nothing on it :O)

i kept trying 7-8 hours and i think it wont happen unless somone Guide's me threw the steps.

thanks ..

Maybe you're clicking to Prepare only, rather than Burn, which includes Prepare and Burn.

If you are getting the option of "ISO Image writer" you are in the burn menu. But this option simply creates a .iso file on your HDD, which is an exact image of what it would look like on a DVD. This can be useful if you want to use another burning program to the actual burning.

If DVDA has recognized your DVD writer, you should see it in the drop down menu (where you see the "ISO Image writer"). If you are seeing "ISO Image writer" as the default I suspect DVDA doesn't see your drive.... but click on the drop down menu to check.

If your drive is there, then simply choose that. If not, you will need to determine why it isn't recognized. What drive is it?

DVDA isn't recognizing your burner.. First, make sure you are running the latest update of DVDA - if you are, then you are probably SOL and will need to use something like Nero to perform the actual burn.

on other thing - sometimes people have reported issues with RW media, but things work ok with -R - try using different media in the burner.

I am using a Plextor 716A with DVDA3 with no problem. Is your Plextor 716A displayed in the My Computer list? Do you have any other burn software installed on your system?
