And are you talking about DVD A Pro or Studio?

I think SCS just got confused with their numbering. DVDA pro 5.0 has more in common with 4.5 than 5.2 so far as installation is concerned. 4.5 and 5 can use the same serial number, but 5.2 is different. Some 5 files get installed in a 4.5 folder.

It is DVD-A Pro. They always have it listed as DVD-A Pro 4.5/5.0 on the download even though the Vegas Pro 8.0 install disc (boxed) had it listed as 4.5 only.

Just think of 5.0 as an update rather than an upgrade of 4.5 That's not strictly correct either, however.
