No matter how i try, DVD-A 5.0a B173 does not build a single BD for me.
The same BD assets imported in a similar project into TAW4 work nicely there).
DVDs (different projects) are built o.k. though in DVD-A.
WinXP SP2 on a DELL XPS M1710, T7600G
OC@3.16GHz (also tested without OC),
3 SATA-HDD 7200rpm, each with more than 57GB space free.
A.: Assets 2:04 hr MPEG2 24Mbps + AC3 256 Mbps encoded in TX4XP.
1 chapter selection menu only with 33 animated thumbnail buttons.
BD-building stalls after 49%, never getting the last second of that part done.
B: Now to be safe from encoder faults I use DVD-A internal encoding.
MPEG2@24Mbps, the input asset is Canopus Lossless AVI
(the same that went into TE4XP before in Version A)
13 hours of encoding, then again: stall at 49% total time.
In Version A and B the ~bdmux folders have been built
and gradually filled with the appropriate streams and index files.
On user cancel these are deleted.
I can supply screenshots.
