DVD-A video burned onto Memorex 4x DVD+R wont work in DVD player or PS2

But it does work on the computer. And I have burned DVD+r's with the same media (but different program) that do work in the set top dvd player and the PS2

Any ideas on this one?

I like DVD-A because of the "fit on disc" feature, it suits my current project quite well. Does anyone know if theres a feature for a button that would "play all" (all the clips on the disc, or on a given menu page, etc.)

There seem to be some burner / media combinations that DVDA doesn't work properly with. For example, if I use DVDA with my Memorex (dual formt) burner and burn onto a TDK DVD-R, it works fine. Same program, same project, same burner using a TDK DVD+R, and the disc won't play in anything. Same files, same burner, different burning program (Nero) on either + or - media, the disc plays fine.

Results may vary.

My recommendation would be to first try a DVD-R.

If that doesn't help, my second recommendation would be try a different brand of media.

If that doesn't help, my third recommendation would be to design and prepare your DVD files in DVDA and use another burning program to put them on a disc.

Oops, my first recommendation should've been to make sure you're using the latest update of DVDA. If you're using DVDA1, update to 1.0d. If you're using DVDA2, update to 2.0a.

Check the media ID with a program like DVD Identifier and see who made it for Memorex.
Ritek R02 - Poor
RICOHJPNR01 - Good
PHILIPS.C08 - Not sure
MBIPG101R03 - Mixed
CMC MAG.F01 - Usually OK depending upon burn speed

Don't use a label
Burn with DVDA at 1x

its ricohJPNR01

Im using a NEC DVD-2500a, 1x is not an option with DVD+R for some reason

my options are :
2.4x
267,112.4x (damn, thats fast - assume this is the "fast as possible" option?)
