Can you describe the steps you're taking so we can figure out where it's going wrong?

Have you ensured you've select the Burn DVD option and not the Prepare DVD option?

The video files are, by the way, being written to the folder you've selected in the DVD prep area after you click Made DVD.

I have the movie built in DVD architect. Then I go to MAKE DVD
I select prepare to a specific folder. It creates the VIDEO_TS and the AUDIO_TS.
SO far everything is as expected
Then I go back to MAKE DVD and select from a previous prepared folder. It goes to the on I just prepared. I put a DVD in my DVD drive and tell it to burn. It then builds an ISO file in DVD-RAM Drive (F:) MY DVD drive does not light up. I can burn to it from other programs.

I suppose it's possible DVD Architect can't access your drive. It doesn't happen often -- but occasionally a program like Nero keeps other programs from accessing the DVD burner.

If that's the case, since you've already got a prepared file, you can just use Nero (or whatever burner software is loaded on your computer) to burn the VIDEO_TS folder to a playable disc and it should work.

Thanks Steve

I shared the DVD folder with one of my other computers on my network and burned it with architect 4.5.
I must have changed a setting on one of my other programs that will not let Architect access the drive.
