DVD Arch 2.0 with new Lite-On burner

Hi all,
Please advise as to what you would do in this situation:
I bought a Lite-On DH-20A4P04C burner that's so new they haven't even developed the firmware yet (???!!!!)
I made several coasters today using DVDA 2.0 and then downloaded a trial version of Nero.
Nero had no problems. I would guess it has to be a software conflict but do you think the firmware will make a difference when it does come out (Lite-On says they only support Nero) or will I need to get V8 (was planning on waiting on V9).

I've never used DVDA to burn, anyway, I always create the VIDEO_TS folder with DVDA and burn with Nero... Look around on some of the bargain sites, you can pick up a basic OEM copy of a prior version of Nero for a couple of bucks. (Nero Express works fine, you don't need the full Nero Burning ROM app) Random link from google:

In your situation I would continue to prepare with DVDA 2 and burn with Nero.

Very cool, so (at the risk of sounding like a knucklehead) Nero can indeed read the menu based TS files created in DVDA...right?

Nero doesn't have to read it. All it does is copy whatever DVDA made to the disc, verbatim, byte for byte.

I used Nero for a long time but, for the last six months or so, I've been using a freeware burner called, "ImgBurn." Much like Vegas, it's quite powerful. You can just burn discs very simply or, if you know what your doing, you can get "under the hood" and adjust all kinds of parameters.
