DVD Arch Blu Ray Supported AC3 Audio?

So what are the diffecances between Pro and Studio exactly - anybody know. Audio encoded with the Studio encoder comes up saying unsupported in DVD Arch when making a Blu Ray disc (needs to be re-encoded) - yet audio with the Pro encoder works. Also AC3 audio from the AVC(AVCHD) encoder is not supported. So what is DVD Arch looking for? Trying to import an AVCHD file directly from my cam also comes up unsupported (consumer Sony AVCHD cam).

The pro encoder is a certified dolby digital encoder that carries the official dolby logo while the studio encoder is not. DVDa is expecting the signature from the pro encoder.

For avchd you can either create a M2TS without the audio or a AVC and then a separate ac3 file from the pro encoder which will combine in dvda for a no recompress author.

yeah creating the ac3 as a separate file is not a problem - I am just curious to what it is the DVD Arch is looking for, which I guess it is something that only the 'Pro' encoder supplies... and not even my camera's audio supplies. Interesting.
