DVD Architect and TSST H552U burner

I have installed DVD Architect Studio 3.

After setting up to burn a DVD, the Studio software will not recognize my TSST H552U DVD burner. The only "burner" it wants to recognize is some "ISO Image Writer" and I don't have one of those in my machine (at least not one I know about).

Nero recognizes the H5521U burner with no problems. It is probably heresy to say it in this forum but Pinnacle Studio 10 recongizes this burner just fine. Seems that only DVD Architect Studio 3 refuses to recognize it.

Anyone have a similar problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Well, this isn't really a solution, but it will get you by until you find one ... use DVD Architect to prepare your DVDs. This will create a folder with AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS directories, the latter containing the files for the DVD. After preparing use Nero to create a Video DVD, burning that VIDEO_TS directory to the disc.

THanks for taking the time to respond. A couple follow up items occur to me.

First, I notice that I mis-typed the name of the burner once. It should have been TSST H552U. Not a big deal unless someone else has a similar experience or a fix for this particular burner.

Second, did I understand you correctly that I should ONLY burn the VIDEO_TS directory and not burn the AUDIO_TS directory?

Third, when using Nero am I understand you to say that I should burn as a Video DVD rather than just "copy" the files to a DVD. Right?

This might just work.
