DVD Architect - audio levels - beginners q

Having loaded up DVDArch, I open a new project of "single movie" and add my pre-rendered movie file. within DVDArch, when i right click (navigate into) the mpg file to open it in the timeline (to add chapeters), i notice that the audio level on one channel (of the two displayed) dives after 5 min [and does so audibly when played back on the timeline]. However, i have burnt a dvd from the same image, and it seems fine and the audio does not crash away. Any thoughts?

There is a known bug with the AC-3 "Studio" encoder that does not set a flag correctly for the 90 deg phase shift.

Other than the behavior you noticed, it is of little concern since, as you noted, the DVDs come out burnt correctly, and older Pro Logic Surround systems decode the audio correctly (I have tested this).

Thanks again, it left me scratching my head and wondering if i had inappropriately set some fifth level option which i would never find again!

On the codecs issue, I like the MediaInfo program! Really good specific tool.
