DVD Architect burns DVD-R but not DVD+R on A06

Any ideas on why DVD Architect is unable to successfully burn DVD+R media on a Pioneer A06? I've can burn just fine with Fugi DVD-R, and Fugi DVD-RW but the Fuji DVD+R appears to "hang" when about 50% done and then suddenly ends. The resulting disk is a coaster. DVD Architect appears to correctly recognized the media as DVD+R prior to burning.

I don't think Pioneer supports DVD+R.

I have a Pioneer A06 and ran into problems authoring onto DVD+Rs.
I simply authored the movie onto a DVD-RW and then used a different program to duplicate it onto a DVD+R, which then worked. I could then erase the DVD-RW for future use.

This not the first time this has happened with dual format burners. Sometimes changing the brand of discs, or burning with a different program will solve the problem or simply make a copy from the -R to +R using the same burner using a program like Record Now or Record Now Max. If you have a DVD Rom, the copy can be just as fast as making another copy from DVDA.
