DVD Architect errors

For some reason, we can no longer burn Blu-Ray or DVDs from architect.

Architect will Render the file, then around the 62% mark, the Render will stop and this message appears:

"Warning: An error has occurred while writing a file.

The reason for the error could not be determined."

We just upgraded our architect today from 5.0 to 5.2. We did this when we upgraded to Sony Vegas 10. Although this issue has been happening for the last two weeks, before we made the upgrade.

Any help or advice you could give us would be great. We do have a Blu-Ray burner. We have been doing this for a few years now and we have never had this problem.

What are you using as your source video?

Ideally you should be using DVD-quality MPEGs exported from Vegas. Video directly from camcorders (especially pocket Flip-style camcorders) can sometimes prove difficult for the program to digest.

Also, you don't say how long your video is, but it's best not to try to squeeze more than 70 minutes of video on a standard, single-sided DVD.
