I am also very very interested in knowing this same information - as both features are very important for my consideration of DVD Architect.

Multiple Audio tracks, subtitles, and in addition - the ability for a DVD to contain ANY of the possible AC-3 configurations for various segments (ex. 1.0 Mono for an additional soundtrack (commentary), 2.0 Stereo (Matrix Dolby Surround Encoded when applicable) for the Main Menu, and a full 5.1 Track for the Main Audio on the video.

I've noticed that the AC-3/DVD Burner plug in pack will not allow a disc to be made with a mix of different AC-3 files - I hope the DVD Architect DOES NOT follow this design.

I think one of the replies somewhere said that the initial release would just have one audio stream and no subtitles. That one audio stream could presumably be any legal ac3 structure from 1.0 to 5.1.

Just a presumption on my part. I'll try to dig out the original comment.

Subtitles and alternate soundtracks are not supported in DVDA 1.0

SonicEPM,

Thanks for the confirmation (although not what I was hoping to hear).
Another couple of questions?
Will future releases possibly offer "alternate soundtrack" capabilities?
Will DVDA 1.0 allow multiple AC-3 files on the same disc to contain different configurations...(unlike AC-3/DVD Burner utility which only allows the same "template" type on a single disc (all stereo or all 5.1 - no mixing)

Ex: Introduction Clip uses 2.0 Surround(matrix)encoded track
Menu Screen(s) use a 2.0 Stereo track
Movie #1 has 4.0 (quad) mix
Movie #2 has 5.1 mix
Movie #3 has 1.0 (mono) mix

Thanks,
