Hello, i just downloaded the demo to this product because i wanted to try it and see if its worth getting, but now this software has messed up media player severly. Mpeg-2 dvd files now have black bars on the sides, and when in full screen mode, they are now on the sides and tops. I find this most annoying, and also, this program has screwed up all of my divx recordings, they seem very bright, washed out, and the color has been tinted to a slight blue tone, i want to know why this program has messed with this and how it can be fixed, i uninstalled the program and that did nothing. Can anyone help me?

Edit: Also, i cannot click on any icons on my desktop anymore, this is all because of DVD architect, please help.

Don't you just love it when neophites screw up their system and because...well, they are neophites - and then blame SoFo products?

If you (trekker007) had any concept of what you were doing prior to trying to work with DVDA...you would know that your codecs are a little bit out of whack.

But the only time I have seen this to be a problem, especially for folks working with Divx recording - is when people have their systems set up to try and record (and or in any other sense of the word...copy) bootlegged video material.

Yeah...see...they find these sources to download first run movies - and then they think..."HEY!!! I'll put it on CD/DVD so I can play it on my TV at homew! Ain't I a smartie pants!!"

Well...since you don't know exactly what you are doing (and have discombobulated your codecs (and, just for the record, your media player isn't screwed up...there is one check box you have to uncheck...but unless you haven't guessed it yet - I"m not gonna tell ya how to do it!!! Naaaa-naaaa-naaaaa-aaaaa...poo-poo)) - I can't find it in my heart to help you figure it out.

You are waaaayyy on your own on this one.

I fail to understand why are you being so mean to me on this, i do not bootleg or copy material, i make amatuer movies, and i want to back up my VHS collection onto DVD so they dont turn into a garbled mess of worthless VHS tapes with bad sound and video one day, i thought i would get some help on this forum, and i'm blaming it on this program because it happened right after i installed it, i was watching the video, then i installed the program, and i watched it again, and it turned out to look like this, DVD architect changed something! What is your problem with helping someone? These forums are here so i dont have to email sonic foundry and complain, but so i can get a quick answer from this group of people who also seem to have problems. And another thing, why are you accusing me of copying material when your website appears to have x-men 2 on it.
