I have an old project that was originally shot in 1080i, but I burned as DVD. Is there any way to change the project to Bluray without re-doing the entire project?
Assuming you rendered your project from Movie Studio (what version?), you should render your project using the appropriate Bluray template, that is the video and audio separately.
Depending on how you setup your DVDAS5 project, the pages, menus, markers, music, thumbnails, etc., you should be able to keep most or all of it.
Could you provide additional information, the version of Movie Studio, perhaps a screenshot of your DVDAS5 project. And, also maybe the steps you used to render the DVD.
I have Studio 13 Platinum. Only purchased it to have latest version of DVDA. I use other editing software and out put 1080i or 1080p depending on original footage.
From reading the links, the only choice would be to export my menu if I wanted to reuse that and start a fresh project with Bluray settings.
I had used another app which allowed user to pick DVD or Bluray on the fly. Would be a nice feature in DVDA.
