DVD Architect Templete

I just rendered a video to MPEG2 in both black and white and color. I authored a DVD in Architect and burnt the color version. Now I want to burn the black and white version with the exact same setup vis a vis menus etc. Do I have to create the page all over again or is there a way of saving a templete that can be used again

You can simply replace the mpeg-2 file and run the Create DVD, assuming its exactly the same length (time wise) should work a treat. I've done the same trick when I had to replace a soundtrack using ac3, even though the new ac3 file was a different size but exactly the same duration, not a hint of sync loss.

Isn't it nice when something works better than you thought it would :)

Farss....Although you answered half the question, I think you missed the beginning part of the question.

Yes, rex, you will have to recreate the page (sort of) to do it in black and white.

You can save the first DVDA file...then do a Save As, and give it a different name (something to denote that it is for B/W). Then, you would have to change any menu items that you have that need to be changed (i.e. from color to B/W).

But....as long as the only thing you need to chage is the MPEG...then pick up with what FARSS said and just replace the video.
