DVD Architect wants to recompress video

I'm exporting a "DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream" out of Vegas Movie Studio, but DVDA still wants to recompress it. According to Media Player Classic, the video specs are: Video: MPEG2 Video 720x480 (16:9) 29.97fps 9500Kbps [Video]

Looks DVD compliant to me. GSpot also says it's DVD compliant. There's no audio track, I rendered that as AC3 separately.

What gives?

Hmm,

maybe too simple but: Do your DVDA project and export settings match those of your source material?

Another guess: Maybe video plus audio plus menu(s) sum up to more than approximately 4.3GB and you're creating a single layer DVD?

Cheers
