The file path can be anything you want it to be. Just browse to a folder where you want the rendered file saved and choose it.

Well, I tried that and got the same error message. “Read only or invalid path". Please correct it.

Try renderinig and saving straight to your c drive. Can you do that.

I had the same problem, and still do, but to get around this I changed the path syntax to something that shouldn't have worked at all.

For example, the path should come up looking something like this:

D:\Video projects\mymovie\Disney2.mpg

Change it to:

D:/Video projects\mymovie\Disney2.mpg

You need to do this for the audio path as well.

NOTE: what is changed is the slash after the drive letter. This should not work, but on my system (Vista Premium 32) it works. This is the only program I own that requires this backwards fix and Sony says they may fix it in the next release of the software. Rather odd that it happens in the first place.

Does this fix also work for you?

Have tried this to no avail. also saved it to C drive as per Terrys sugestion.
What next i cry?
