DVD burner support

There is only a handfull of "supported" DVD burners for Vegas. What spec's must a DVD burner have to work with Vegas? If the drive is using a standard Microsoft driver, shouldn't that be enough?

I believe the "supported" burners are simply the ones that have explicitly been tested by Sonic Foundry. There are others that work but have not been physically tested by Sonic Foundry.

I have a Sony dru500a upgraded to the latest firmwear. Works fine for me.
