dvd construction

i just made a dvd where after activating each button, i want the video to return to the menu which it came from. I created in and out points on the video file in the architect time line and for "end action" i connected to "link" and "most recent menu" and when that didn't work i connected to "link" and "the menu page which the button is from".------In the preview window in Architect, things function correctly, but after burning a dvd, at the end, instead of the video going back to the main menu, its returning to the begining of the video.
any suggestions?
thanks

Does it do this on another DVD player?

Do you have to menu set to ACTIVATE the button automatically?

it did this on 2 players-----there are several buttons and when i activate them and skip to the end, it goes back to the begining of the video instead of back to the menu which is where i have it programed to go.

How are you skipping to the end of the video clip? If you are using the "next chapter" button, then be aware that using "next chapter" after the last chapter of a movie will usually result in the DVD player playing the next clip that was brought into the project - the end actions associated with the video clip are not executed. I say usually because this depends on the player, and some players have different behavior.

This is not a bug in DVDA, but a shortcoming in the DVD spec as it does not define what should happen in this situation. Most people put a chapter mark on the very last frame of the clip to work-around this - the idea being that it is highly unlikely the user will be able to hit next-chapter during the last frame, thus the end actions associated with the clip will get performed.
