dvd has nothing on it

i record my dvd an it says recorded sucessfully but there is nothing on the DVD disc it self. WHY!

What kind of project -- menu based, single movie, what?
What kind of video(s) did you use -- format, size?
Was it okay in DVDA's preview screen?
Did you try to play the DVD on a computer on in a DVD player?
By, "there's nothing on the DVD," do you mean it is not recognized by a player/computer, or that you looked at the directory listing on a computer, and there's literally nothing there?
