I am useing dvd architect and I have a q/a about Video and audio?>

I see that you can export video out of movie studio as MPEG 2 with no audio.
And you can export Audio out of Movie studio with no Video.

And you can import them into dvd architect and it puts them together.

But I allso see you can export audio and video together as MPEG 2 and bring it in to dvd architect.

What is the difernce on how I put it to gether??

The main difference is that when you output a single MPEG2 file with video and audio, Vegas insists on using MPEG audio. Trouble is, DVD Architect doesn't like MPEG audio -- it likes AC3 audio and WAV (PCM) audio. It will accept a file that includes MPEG audio, but it's also going to take the time to separate it from that MPEG2 file and re-encode it to either AC3 or WAV (depending on your project settings).

In the long run, it's just quicker (and cleaner, since any re-encode will introduce at least some compression artifacts) to give DVD Architect what it wants: An MPEG2 file that has the video and an AC3 or WAV file that has the audio.

For the record, if you've already created a file that has both video and audio, you don't need to re-do the whole thing. Just output the audio to its own file and replace the audio stream in DVD Architect properties for that movie.
