File->New->Single Movie

I suppose that is the closest thing Architect offers.

It requires 6 or 7 more mouse clicks than the iDVD feature I'm talking about.

Yeah, but Vegas and DVD Architect are much more full-featured programs.

I'm sure Windows MovieMaker will also spit out a good-looking DVD with just a click or two -- but it's Windows MovieMaker.

Yeah, we'll just have to live with more clicking. When you do the same thing 30 times in a day it is noticeable.

Only Architect seems smart enough to burn a video made by Vegas without re-encoding. Re-encoding 30 times is worse than 180 additional clicks.

Can't quite get my head around File->New->Single Movie being 6 or 7 clicks??

I've hit the "ENTER" on my keyboard thousands of times. Mouse the same. Maybe Mac users only have their mice work for a hundred or so clicks and need constant shortcuts to make their life easier. ;)
