DVD is skipping backwards through movies in random order

I am working on a DVD with 10 music videos all as separate timelines. I have created a playlist for a "Play All" option but when the DVD is created, the movies will skip forward in the correct order but when you try to skip backwards, they are not in the correct order. Why is this?

Do you get the same results on a DVD player as you do when you play the disc on your computer using VLC Media Player?

Long shot, but in DVDA are the clips in the playlist in the same order as the clips are shown in the "Project Overview" window (upper left of screen)?
