DVD Mpeg compliant ?

Hi,
Do you know what are exactly the DVD Meg compliant properties. When i can't use Vegas7 i use some other sofwares wich convert and export to DVD MPEG (PAL) but very often when i import these files DVDA4 need to recompress them, reason : they are not DVD MPEG complian (Project is PAL too).

odds are there's mpeg audio in the mpg file. but dvda has a listing of mpeg complient setting in the help file. There's quite a wide range. :)
