DVD not Burning properly

I have a Toshiba Tecra M2 laptop with a Matshita DVD-RAM UJ820S.
I have DVD Architecture Vers 2b Build 130
It goes through the whole process of burning a disk. Either from prepared directories or from files loaded into DVD Architecture but the end result is the same a Read Only DVD-R with absolutely notihng visible on it.

Runnnig DVD playing programs or putting into a DVD player produces nothing.

What is the problem. Why does not DVD Architecture see a problem. It just merrily runs along showing its progress as it goes and producing absolutely notihng.

Read it from My Computer and no directories or file show.

What is the problem. What needs upgrading

I was experiencing the same problem. After many Renders and Burns I finally have a method that works.

1> I use DVDA to render to a folder.
2> I load NERO and select "DVD-Video". Input the neccessary information.
3> I locate the "render" directories and drag these into the ones nero automatically sets up.
4> happy burning.

Well that is just great. The best solution to my software problem is not to use it. Sony ARE YOU OUT THERE - ARE YOU LISTENING. Please fix
