DVD NTSC Video Stream vs DVD NTSC Render

I am a little confused on these 2 render formats.

It looks like the DVD NTSC format produces a mpeg2 file that includes video & audio? I have always used this render format and then performed a second render for the audio file using the ac3 format. Have I been redundant in doing the second render for the audio file?

So is the only difference between the DVD NTSC and the NTSC Video Stream format just the fact that NTSC Video Stream format only produces a video file, with no audio? Any difference in output quality between the two?

You should use the video stream with separate AC3 audio stream for DVD Architect.
You can adjust the output bitrate (quality) to suit your needs and program length.
