DVD Play back unexpectedly quits

I've burned my Vegas 5 project to a disc using DVD Architect 5. When I play the dvd back on a dvd player, it quits during the middle of playing and returns to the main menu. I took the same project and burned it to a dvd on an older computer using DVD Architect 1 and it works fine. Is there some setting on my dvd burner that I need to adjust? My machine is a Windows Vista 64 HP. I can't find any packet writing software (DLA) anywhere to turn off.

Any ideas?

Have you tested the DVD in your computer's DVD player?

If it plays all the through there but you only have a problem with your standalone DVD player, it's likely that you used a medium low quality disc, like a Memorex, and it's just enough of a quality issue for your DVD player to reject it.

If, on the other hand, the same thing happens on your computer, then you know it's a problem in the DVD files themselves.

On your DVDA 5 Project, is the "Out" point on the media timeline set correctly for the end of the media, or is part of it grayed out?

I used a Verbatim DVD-R for one burn and a Fuji DVD-R for another. Both drop out at the same location when I'm watching it on the standalone dvd player. When I watch the rendered clip directly on the computer, no drop offs.

How do you set and 'out point'. I just drag my clips from the project media library onto the time line and add a transition.

The drop off is in the middle of a clip, not between two clips. Also, it plays fine when I burn the dvd on my old xp machine with dvd architect 1.0.

The "In" and "Out" point markers are clearly visible on the DVDA Timeline.
