DVD+R vs. DVD-R, which will become the standard?

I prefer the DVD+RW and think that more flexibility with the +RW format will eventually give it the "go-ahead" as the DVD standard format for burning.

They are both cheap enough now that it does not really matter. If you archive anything important on one of the - or + R media then even if one format dies in the future you still have your data. Most people will upgrade their systems at least once before either format dies.
