DVD starts in wrong place in video

I've created a video with a splash screen that should appear before the video. I've set the splash screen as the start item and it works fine in the preview mode but when I burn the DVD the video starts and the splash screen doesn't appear.... Any suggestions?

When you are previewing, are you sure you are previewing the Disc from the beginning, or are you just previewing the splash screen?

You need to make sure you are previewing from the correct position, or else it could seem like it is doing what you want, but really it isn't.
