DVD title screen distorted on TV

I created a DVD containing two video tracks that are played via the title screen menu. When I run the DVD in my PC everything looks fine but when I play it through my DVD player for viewing on my TV the title screen becomes stretched side-to-side and is not pleasing to look at. When I play either of the two videos the TV looks normal, as it always has in Architect or on the PC. It’s just the title screen that becomes distorted.

If I change the aspect ratio of my flat-screen TV from 16:9 to 4:3, the title screen goes back to its normal appearance but the videos now get scrunched up side-to-side

Any ideas?

Create your DVD project settings as a 16 x 9 project. If you created the MENU withing DVDA, it should look correct now.

If you created it ina graphic program, you might need to redo it with the 16 x 9 aspect.
