DVD with second alternate audio track

Does DVD Architect 4.0 or 4.5 support creation of DVD's with a second audio track? By second audio track I mean a second audio track that can be selected in place of the main audio track. For example: Main DVD video is interview scenes interspersed with still pictures and main audio track which is a mix of interview dialog and music where there are still pictures. I wish to add an alternate audio track that will have commentary about the dialogs and still pictures that can be selected in place of the main audio track by the person playing the DVD. This would be like a DVD that has a second language audio track that can be selected in place of the primary language audio track.

If DVD Architect can produce DVD's with a second alternate audio track, where can I find information on how to prepare the DVD?

Actually, videos in DVD Architect can have up to eight audio tracks. You'll find full info on audio tracks in the manual / online help, but the short version is:

1. Navigate into the media for which you want to add an alternate track (double-click the item in the Project Overview window or its button on the menu you have designed).

2. Above the timeline, click the Insert Audio Track icon. This looks like a plus sign next to a speaker. In some versions, it's "hidden" behind the generic Insert Track icon, which is just a big plus sign.

3. Add your audio file to the new track. There's more than one way to do this, but the most common are to either drag the file from the Explorer window and onto the track; or go to the Media tab of the Media Properties window, click the arrow to the right of Audio 2, choose Replace, and browse to your file.

You may also want to do a search of the online help for Adding a Setup Menu, which will explain how to add buttons to a menu so the viewer can choose which track to play before they start the movie.

You can also search &/or browse this forum... There have been several threads I think discussing different ways to do the set-up menus, use scripting to keep track of the viewer selection etc...
