I had three different people tell me today that two out of three dvd's don't work. They said that one dvd works fine..but the others play for a little while then freeze, stop, pixelate, and all kinds of other horrible things. The dvd's have been tried in several different players and still doesn't work. Why is this happening?

I'm using DVDA2 with premium printable dvd's i ordered from a company.
Here is a link to the disk i use and the company i bought from if it helps any...

Need a fix preety soon. Can't have all my dvd's not working.

Thanks

There's no way to tell by looking at the web page what brand those are, so no way to tell if they really are good media or not.

1) I'd start by trying some media that people have reported success with - I personally like Ritek and have had good luck with them, as have many other people.

2) It might not be a media problem - it could be your burner. If you have access to another burner it would be worth trying this media on the other burner and seeing if you get the same results.

3) Try changing your burning speed - I usually burn at 4x without troubles, but other folks have found that they need to burn at 2x or even 1x for good results.

1) I have burned over 50 dvd's with this media just fine...and only now have i been having problems. I use these dvd's mainly because they have a printable surface.

2) The burner I have is a Sony DRU-500AX. The only burner i have and don't really have access to another one. Wish I did.

3) I always burn at 2x

Could the problem be DVDA2? Also I've read that i should burn using Nero. Would this be better than using DVDA to burn?
